Sure we all want “more” of them, but they don’t really give you enough information on how to take action. Now “sales conversion”, on the other hand, is one metric that will really give you something to act on. If they’re dismal you need to find out why and fast. Maybe the checkout feature on your site isn’t working correctly or there’s something down on your site, etc.

There are even more specific conversion rates that you can also track.
